NOANE was built by operators with first-hand experience in manufacturing operations and rare-earth mineral supply, who watched paper-based custody fail under modern volume and adversarial pressure. The protocol exists to give physical goods a custody layer machines can verify.

NOANE is the hardware-anchored cryptographic custody layer that lets an AI agent verify, in a single round-trip, that the physical object it is buying or accepting is the object the record claims it is, and and that the party transferring it is authorized according to the ownership record.
NOANE is patent-protected infrastructure that brands, platforms, and AI agents connect to. It is not a marketplace. It is not a token. It is not a consumer app. It is the cryptographic primitive for ownership of physical assets, designed to operate at machine scale and machine speed. Brands integrate once. Platforms inherit verified custody. Agents transact without supervision.
The Timing
AI agents will outnumber humans in commerce. None of them can verify custody.
Agent-payment primitives are arriving before physical-asset custody primitives. That leaves a gap. AI agents executing autonomous transactions need cryptographic, machine-verifiable proof of who holds the thing being transacted. NOANE was built because the cost of leaving the gap open scales with the number of agents, not the number of humans.

NOANE is built by LITH LLC, founded by operators whose direct experience is in manufacturing operations and rare-earth mineral supply, where material provenance, OECD-aligned conflict-minerals due diligence, Dodd-Frank Section 1502 reporting, customs and export controls, and ISO 9001 quality systems are part of the day job, not a slide in a deck. That work spans multiple sovereign regulatory regimes, multi-tier supplier networks, and material flows critical to electronics, defense, and clean energy supply chains. It also put us across the table from people carrying the same problem in adjacent categories: aerospace parts moving under 8130-3 documentation, pharmaceutical chain-of-custody under DSCSA, luxury resale-royalty conversations stalled between brands and platforms, counterfeit and gray-market losses absorbing margin year over year. The same custody failure showed up in every one of those rooms. We did not build NOANE to chase a thesis. We built it because we have spent enough time next to the custody tax to know who pays it, and why.
